Welcome Aboard Cola Sportfishing.
We are very much a family affair. 

Captain David C. Boggini learned to love fishing with his father, brothers, uncles, & cousins.  Over the years David has shared his love of fishing with his own family, wife Susan and his six sons, Chas, Evan, Alex, Will, Noah & Cole have spent countless days on chartered fishing expeditions.  With the taste of saltwater breezes and family bonding always enticing them back for more.  It was after a chartered fishing event in the Florida Keys that the family decided to take the passion to another level and get serious. 

David and son Chas began the search for the right vessel.  They knew they wanted a boat that could handle their thirst for new adventures.  They finally found the one, a 38 foot Fountain tournament edition, fitted with three 225 Mercury outboard engines.  Undeniably, it is a beautiful and capable fishing vessel.  Not to be intimidated by its power, Chas and Dad began to learn just how vast the world of sportfishing is.  With the help of friends at J & B tackle in Niantic, CT, the Cola boat was outfitted with only the finest sportfishing equipment. 

The family began a quest around the globe in search of new sportfishing techniques.  Their travels brought them to such exotic places, like Brazil, Cabo San Lucas, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Haiti, California and Florida.  What began as a family pastime has continued as a family passion, one that David hopes to share with other families. 

The passion has lead the Cola boat to fishing for fun with family and friends, as well as, competing in some of the northeast’s most prestigious tournaments.  Some of these include, the J & B Tri-state offshore, the J & B Run & Gun, ASA Striper Trail, the Boston Big Game Fishing Club’s Monster Shark tournament and most recently hosted a west coast team in the widely televised, on OLN/VS, Shark Hunters East/West challenge.  Stay tuned……
